Scanner playbook

How to read a Pro7X scan and take the trade.

Five minutes. You'll know exactly what each field means, when to trust a setup, and how to execute it on MetaTrader.

1. Pick one chart

Choose the timeframe you actually trade (M15–H4 for day, H4–D for swing). Make sure the symbol, price scale and last 40+ candles are clearly visible.

2. Upload + hint

Drop the screenshot in. Add an optional symbol hint (e.g. "XAUUSD H1") for faster recognition and any bias you'd like the scanner to consider.

3. Read the A+ card

You get ONE setup — never a menu. Entry, stop, TP1 (+ optional TP2), R:R, trade type, expected duration and a 0-100 probability score.

4. Execute

Tap Execute on MetaTrader. Your trade plan is copied automatically and the MT5 web terminal opens on the exact symbol.

Every field, decoded
What each part of the scan actually means at the desk.
Entry zone
The price range where the setup triggers. Use a limit order at the mid, or a stop order past the trigger candle.
Stop-loss
Invalidation level. If price closes past it, the read is wrong — take the small loss.
TP1 / TP2
First target = book partials + move stop to breakeven. Optional TP2 = runner.
R:R
Estimated reward-to-risk. Anything under 1.5 is only worth taking with very high probability.
Trade type + duration
Scalp (mins–hours), day (intraday), swing (multi-day). Duration is a realistic hold estimate.
Fundamentals
Macro drivers + whether they support or conflict with the technical read.
News risk (48h)
High-impact events on the currencies involved. "High" = wait for the release.
Trading session
Current session and next major open. Setups misaligned with liquidity get down-weighted.
Probability score — what to actually do
The single most important number on the card.
80–100A+ — take it

Textbook confluence + fundamental alignment + news-safe + session-aligned. Full planned risk.

65–79Solid — take with discipline

Good structure, one factor slightly weak. Standard risk, honour the stop.

50–64Neutral — be selective

Only take if it stacks with your own bias, and cut risk in half.

The scanner is telling you to wait. Do not force it.

From scan to filled order — 60 seconds
The exact sequence pro traders use every scan.
  1. 1Confirm the symbol matches your broker's ticker (e.g. XAUUSD vs GOLD).
  2. 2Use the built-in Risk Calculator to size the position for a 1% account risk.
  3. 3Tap Execute on MetaTrader — the trade plan is copied and MT5 web opens.
  4. 4Place a limit at the entry mid, stop at the stop-loss, take-profit at TP1.
  5. 5At TP1: close 50%, move stop to breakeven, let the rest run to TP2 if provided.
Connect MetaTrader via MetaApi Cloud
One-time setup so the scanner's A+ setups can be executed on your terminal in a click.
  1. 1Create a free account at metaapi.cloud and sign in to the dashboard.
  2. 2Open "MetaTrader accounts" → "Add account", pick MT4 or MT5, and enter your broker server name exactly as it appears in your terminal (e.g. Exness-MT5Real8).
  3. 3Enter your MT login number and the trading (not investor) password, then save. Wait until MetaApi shows the account as DEPLOYED and CONNECTED — this can take a couple of minutes.
  4. 4Copy the account ID (a UUID) from the account page.
  5. 5Go to "API tokens" (Profile → Tokens), generate a token with trading access, and copy it once — it is only shown a single time.
  6. 6In Pro7X, open the EA page, choose your platform, paste the broker server, MT login, MetaApi account ID and token, then press "Save & verify connection".
  7. 7Pro7X pings MetaApi immediately. Green "Connected" means orders can be placed; anything else shows the exact reason to fix.

Troubleshooting

• "Token rejected" — the token was created without trading access, or on a different MetaApi profile.

• "Account not deployed" — press Deploy in MetaApi and wait for CONNECTED.

• Order rejected by broker — the symbol name differs (XAUUSD vs GOLD), the market is closed, or lot size is below the broker minimum.

• Always run a demo account first, and use the Live execution feed on the EA page to confirm your fills match the scanner levels.

Trading a funded / prop-firm account
How to use Pro7X without breaking challenge rules.

•Every scan carries a Prop firm desk panel: a challenge-safe verdict, the max risk % suggested for that specific setup, the news-rule read and a consistency note.

•Never exceed the suggested risk — most firms cap 1–2% per trade with a 4–5% daily loss limit.

•If a high-impact release lands inside the trade window, most firms void trades placed within 2 minutes either side. The scanner flags this in the news rule.

•Consistency rules mean one huge day can fail an otherwise passing account. Scale size down, not up, after a win streak.

•Swing setups held over the weekend break some firms' rules — check the expected duration before executing.

Do

✓ Use clean, high-contrast screenshots with the price scale visible.

✓ Respect the stop-loss every single time.

✓ Skip trades in the "Skip" band — patience is edge.

✓ Cross-check the news risk before pressing Execute.

Don't

✗ Widen the stop because "it'll come back".

✗ Trade EURUSD in a dead Asian session — scanner will warn you.

✗ Ignore a "conflicting" fundamentals bias without a very tight stop.

✗ Risk more than 1–2% per trade, ever.
